Mathias Dolls

Deputy Director, ifo Centre for Macroeconomics and Surveys

Mathias Dolls has been Deputy Director of the ifo Centre for Macroeconomics and Surveys since 2017. Prior to that he was deputy head of the research group "International Distribution and Redistribution" at the ZEW in Mannheim. He received his doctorate at the University of Cologne in 2012 and in 2017 he was awarded the Schmölders Prize, which is awarded annually for behavioural research in economic life by the Financial Studies Committee of the Verein für Socialpolitik. Mathias Dolls is scientific coordinator of the EconPol Europe network.

Clemens Fuest

President, ifo Institute

Clemens Fuest has been President of the ifo Institute since April 2016. He is also Managing Director of CESifo GmbH, Professor of Economics at LMU Munich and Director of the Center for Economic Studies (CES) at LMU Munich. He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Federal Ministry of Finance (Chairman from 2007 to 2010), Programme Director of the Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation, member of the European Academy of Sciences and member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Ernst & Young GmbH.
